Core Sinergia offers practical in-person workshops and structured accompaniment programs for Colombian adults managing pensions and fixed incomes. We cover budgeting, basic financial services, and everyday economic decisions.
Each topic area is designed around the real situations Colombian pensioners face when managing money on a fixed income.
How to structure monthly expenses when income does not change. Covers priority spending, expense tracking, and planning for irregular costs like health or repairs.
An overview of bank accounts, savings products, and basic credit options available to pensioners in Colombia. What to look for and what to avoid.
Understanding how inflation affects purchasing power. Practical approaches to adjusting household spending when prices rise faster than pension adjustments.
Identifying common financial risks. How to recognize questionable offers, understand basic consumer rights, and make purchases or agreements with greater clarity.
Core Sinergia was built around one observation: financial education designed for working-age professionals rarely translates to the situation of a retired adult managing a fixed pension.
Our workshops take place in Barranquilla and address the specific context of Colombian retirees. Sessions are conducted in plain language, without financial jargon, and include time for questions and individual reflection.
We offer two main program formats. Each is designed for a different level of engagement and availability.
Group sessions held in Barranquilla covering budgeting, household expense planning, and understanding financial products for pensioners. Sessions run approximately 90 minutes and include printed materials participants can take home. Small group sizes allow for questions and open discussion.

A structured multi-session program where participants follow a defined curriculum over several weeks. Each session builds on the previous one. The accompaniment format gives participants time to apply concepts between sessions and return with real questions from their own financial situation. No personalized financial advice is provided.
